01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

Catching your eye in the display case is the bakery's namesake: a choux pastry shaped gracefully like a swan. Piped inside its poised silhouette is a rich diplomat cream that strikes an easy balance without excessive sweetness, layering whipped cream and custard for satisfying depth. It is as thoroughly enjoyable to eat as it is charming to look at.

The cake selection leans generously into the appeal of classic Western-style confections. You will find crisp, flaky mille-feuille sandwiching custard and strawberries alongside quintessential strawberry shortcake layered with fresh whipped cream. There is also plenty of pleasure in exploring different pairings of sponge and cream, such as the springy omelette cake stuffed with Camembert cheese and whipped cream, or a Sachertorte layering apricot jam and rich ganache-style chocolate.

While everything is available for takeaway, you can also select your pastries on the 1 floor and carry them upstairs to the cafe on the 2 floor. Pair your choice with classic kissaten drinks, whether a hot drip coffee, black tea, or a comforting cafe au lait, for a quiet, relaxing pause.
